Objectives

  1. To plan the activities of the department with the view to develop the student nurses who can provide the comprehensive care to the mentally ill.
  2. To implement the mental health nursing syllabus as per the University curriculum.
  3. To use the innovative teaching learning strategies.
  4. To plan the professional development activities the department faculty.
  5. To collaborate with college administration in meeting departmental needs.
  6. To evaluate the performance of the department through various strategies.
  7. To develop collaborative relationship between the institutions of the excellence of the mental health care.
  8. To conduct the research in the department related to mental health nursing disseminate the findings to beneficiaries.
